Pictures are of his Cobra’s losing a fight with entrenched PSP at Quang Tri during an early morning mission in the dark. 😊

I’ll never forget that night.

We’d been playing poker when we got word about Fuller being under heavy, heavy attack and that

Steve and his wing man were scrambled to help try to repel the NVA, who were coming thru the wire.

Dan Pegg and I were to each take an aircraft in succession to provide flares.
